There is no "one size fits all" dog training solution. Our training is designed to cater to each dog as the unique individual that they are! We delve into the psychology and the reasons as to why your dog behaves in the way that they do. If we understand what's going on internally, intellectually, we can customize a perfect plan to give them success and to help overcome their struggles.

A little bit about myself

I have been training animals for the past 14 years. I started out on the racetrack training horses, all the while helping family, friends, and many others in teaching the beginning stages of basic obedience with their dogs.

It was during 2018 when I decided to leave the world of racing and seek further education to become a professional dog trainer. That is when I began my internship at Huffman K9 Obedience. I went through an extensive 1000 hour course where I learned to work with and train many breeds of dogs. There are few breeds that I do not know about. In training, it helps to know the breed to get an understanding of genetic behavior to customize training to each breed specific personality trait. Even our beloved crosses are better understood when knowing who they are genetically.

After completing my internship, I was immediately hired as one of Huffmans professional trainers. During my years working there I had the pleasure of studying a multitude of canine behaviors. In turn, it has afforded me the opportunity to work with and solve many behavioral issues. Developing basic and different training techniques to manage even the most stubborn and difficult temperament dogs.

Not only did I work through instability in dogs, I also taught specialty skills. Ranging from tracking, personal protection, detection; truffles, narcotics, firearms, explosives and more!

I have also trained a multitude of service dogs, ESA dogs as well as therapy dogs. The list is seemingly endless on the fun skills that I have taught clients and their dogs.
